New hotels from Puerto Rico in Hitlon Empire

Three hotels of the island country Puerto Rico became a part of the international hotel corporations Hilton. These are the luxurious hotels of El Conquistador Resort & Golden Door Spa, El San Juan Hotel & Casino and Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino. All these luxury hotels will now operate under the brands owned by Hilton. El Conquistador Resort and El San Juan Hotel will become a part of the collection Waldorf Astoria, and Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino will promote its services under the brand name Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

El Conquistador Resort was included in the list of hotels owned by Hilton on March 24, while the two other hotels will join the network in the nearest future. El San Juan Hotel - one of the oldest hotels of Puerto Rico - will start officially operate under the Waldorf Astoria brand, from April 7, 2009, and Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino officially become part of a hotel chain Conrad on March 12, 2009.

The two chains owned by Hilton, are known for their aggressive marketing policy. Until recently, a chain of luxury hotels Waldorf Astoria Collection have included several hotels in the U.S., among which is legendary Waldorf Astoria in New York. Not so long ago, Waldorf Astoria Collection included three additional hotels outside the States. They are Hotel Palace of the Orient in Saudi Arabia, the Rome Cavalieri hotel, and the French Hotel Trianon Palace. The latter was officially incorporated into the empire Hilton in December 2008.

Another brand of luxury hotels holiday - Conrad Hotels & Resorts - is also known as one of the most active players in the market. In total, including the new hotel Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino, Conrad Hotels & Resorts includes 18 hotels worldwide, mostly in Asia and Oceania. In Europe Conrad chain is represented by 4 hotels in Belgium, Turkey and Ireland.
