The largest travel exhibition in Russia - MITT 2009 – will be held in Moscow on March 18

In Moscow in Expocentr Krasnaya Presnya, one of the largest exhibition halls in the Russian capital, one the most important event for the Russian tourism - exhibition MITT 2009 will take place on 18 March. The exhibition will be attended by over one thousand representatives of Russian and world tourism industry. The major resort of UAE – Dubai – is the official partner of MITT 2009.

In anticipation of the exhibition opening on March 11 in Moscow a press conference dedicated to MITT will take place. It will be attended by leaders of the company ITE - the official organizers of the event, as well as representatives of one of the largest travel agency in Russia - «Tez Tour» and the head of diplomatic mission of Dubai in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries.

Among the 16 participants of the exhibition MITT in Moscow hoteliers, hotel chains and other professionals in the hospitality industry are traditionally well represented. International hotel chains are presented at the MITT 2009 both through their individual hotels, as well as through regional units. Thus, the Marriot Hotel Chain is presented by three stands telling about hotels in Hong Kong, Milan and Amman, and Concord Hotels & Resorts Chain – by the stand of its Russian representative and stand of Emirates Concord Hotel & Residence in Dubai.

The first two days of the exhibition, 18 and 19 March, will be intended exclusively for tourism professionals. So hoteliers will be able to communicate and share experiences with their counterparts in the prepossessing environment. Besides that, a conference devoted to the actual topic for today: "The development of tourism in a crisis" is planned on MITT 2009. Furthermore, within the bounds of MITT 2009 a variety of activities, including the celebration of the anniversary of Russia's oldest tourist agency «Intourist» and the prize of the Russian tourist portal Travel.ru - « The star of Travel.ru», is planned.
