Hotels in Montenegro revise prices

(0) marks: 0Hotels in Montenegro are forced to adjust their prices in relation to the global financial crisis. Montenegro - is a region, which in 2008 became one of the most successful for tourism. Revenues from all activities related to tourism in Montenegro were increased by 10%. Nevertheless, many people in the country estimate the results of 2009 less cheerfully.
Hotels in the resorts of Montenegro will enter the new season with new prices. Most hotels of the country will reconsider their pricing policy, and reduce prices in order to preserve occupancy of hotels. Montenegro is obliged to lower prices in order to keep pace with competitor countries. It is known that the popular Mediterranean regions, like Turkey, Greece and Tunisia have already announced their plans to reduce the cost of hotel rooms up to 30% comparing to the previous season.
A number of hotels in Montenegro have already reduced the value of their services. For example, hotels of a well-known in resort of Herceg Novi have become «cheaper» by an average of 10-12%. This concerns not only the price of rooms, but also related services. Food became cheaper in hotels, some hotels in Herceg Novi has decided to include the cost of beach service in the price.
Many hotels Montenegro are not so scared of crisis. Perhaps they are inspired by last year's success of the country on the world tourist market. Therefore, management of these hotels is going to maintain the same level of prices, which, if necessary, can be made more attractive through various activities, whether it will be «hot» tourist vouchers, «all inclusive» packages at a price of a standard package or seasonal discounts. Rightly or wrongly, many hotels in Montenegro are in no hurry to panic and think that will have time to adjust prices quickly. Authorities of Budva are still looking forward to the early repayment of 38 million, which local they have allocated from budget to the construction of new hotels of Budva Riviera.

Mövenpick: the first hotel on Bali
Chain of luxury hotels Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts became another major international player, which decided to enter the Indonesian hotel market. The company announced its plans to open a new hotel on Bali. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran will be the first hotel of the network in Indonesia. Mövenpick hotel will be located on the south Bali near Jimbaran Bay.
