Holiday Inn has become a partner of London 2012 Olympics

(0) marks: 0The Organizing Committee for preparation and holding Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in London in 2012 reported that they have selected a hotel company, which will become an official partner of the Olympics. The status of «official supplier of hotel services for the London 2012 Olympics » was given to hotels of the hotel chains Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, which is currently administered by the IHG Corporation.
Under the partnership agreement between the hotel Holiday Inn and the Organizing Committee of London Olympics implementation of a number of joint initiatives is stipulated. These include consulting assistance from the experts of the Holiday Inn in analyzing the hotel fund of the British capital. Experts of the well-known hotel brand will check whether the possibilities of the existing hotels and hotels under construction in London match the scale of the tourist flow, which will « hit » the city during the Olympic Games. In addition, Holiday Inn will help the organizers of the Olympics with planning of the Olympic village and manning it with the experienced staff engaged in hotel services.
Holiday Inn, which is currently conducting the total upgrade of the hotel chain, at the cost of 600 million pounds, according to the arrangements will send members of their team to work with the Organizing Committee of the Olympics in London. In addition, Holiday Inn will provide the the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the Olympics with conference rooms in their hotels for meetings and conferences.
According to Andy Klosseta, the chairman of the board of directors of IHG, the participation of Holiday Inn in the Olympic village organization will be a valuable experience that will enable the company to reach a new level of service quality.
In general, cooperation of Holiday Inn and the Organizing Committee of the Olympics in London promises considerable benefits to both parties. Holiday Inn gets a strong advertising support, which is essential for the chain in conditions of reformation and modernization of its hotels. In turn, the organizers of the Olympic Games in London can count on the quality of the reception of numerous tourists, the organization of recreation for athletes and high-quality assistance in accommodation of a large number of guests of London in 2012.
