According to the organizers, HITEC 2009 - is the largest exhibition in the field of hotel technologies not only in the United States, but in the whole world. HITEC 2009 is taking place under the roof of one of the largest exhibition halls of Anaheim - Anaheim Convention Center.
Organizer of HITEC 2009 is traditionally HFTP – the association of professionals in the field of hotel finance and technology. HITEC combines two areas - exhibition and conference.
Within the framework of HITEC exhibition the latest developments in the fields of hotel software, hotel equipment, accounting systems, electronics for rooms and other will be displayed. At the current HITEC 2009 several separate pavilions will be represented that specialize in a particular direction in the field of hotel technology. Thus, in the pavilion GUESTROOM 20X actual innovative developments of next-generation equipment for hotel will be shown. Club Technology Pavilion will be dedicated to technologies in the field of club hotels and club leisure. A number of specialized seminars will take place in this pavilion as well.
Education in the hotel business - is another priority for HITEC 2009. Within the framework of the exhibition a presentation of over 40 different educational programs was scheduled. HITEC offers its participants an opportunity to improve proficiency through participation in industrial conferences, seminars and symposia held during the exhibition. HITEC 2009 will provide educational seminars in the field of environmental technologies in the hotel business, as well as in promoting the hotel product in social networks. Within the bounds of seminars and conferences performances of many well-known companies in the hotel business and technology - Hyatt, Peninsula Group, Trump Hotel Collection, Accor - are expected. Presentations by the representatives of a number of major Internet portals in the American part of the Internet were scheduled as well. In particular, the founder of the project Travelocity.com, Terry Jones, who also collaborates with a number of large portals for online booking, will give speech at the HITEC 2009.
The current exhibition in Anaheim has involved over 300 companies from around the world. Among the official partners of the exhibition - 7 Anaheim hotels, located in close proximity to the Anaheim Convention Center. Two of the seven hotels - Hyatt Regency Orange County and Anaheim Marriott Suites – provide their guests with transfer to the exhibition.
