Hotels of Ukraine have signed a contract with TUI for the reception of guests of EURO 2012

(0) marks: 0Two luxury hotels of Ukraine - Opera Hotel in Kiev, Donbass Palace Hotel in Donetsk – have signed a contract with the official travel partner of the UEFA - TUI Travel Plc company, a British unit of the German tourism giant TUI. Under the terms of the contract two Ukrainian hotels now are the authorized partners of TUI and can host in their rooms guests of the European Championship, players and representatives of the official structures.
The contract specifies the pricing policy of the two Ukrainian hotels, order of payment and other financial details. Opera Hotel in Kiev, Donbass Palace Hotel under the terms of the contract will be able to host guests of the championship from the 1st of June to the 3rd of July 2012.
Against the backdrop of critics, which the Ukrainian organizers of the European Football Championship have received in recent months from the management of UEFA signing a contract between the two hotels and TUI looks like a positive improvement. Anyways, a minimum number of 30 hotels should be still constructed in Ukraine, in order to receive and fans of the teams participating in Euro 2012 properly.
Opera Hotel and Donbass Palace Hotel today are one of the leaders of the hospitality industry in Ukraine. The quality of service and technical level of the hotel allows them to be among the best in the post-Soviet space. Built in 2007 in Kiev hotel "Opera" today is a member of prestigious group “The Leading Hotels of the World”, which combines the most luxurious hotels located around the globe. Donbass Palace Hotel was opened in 2004 and since then was entitled as the best hotel in Ukraine for three times. Key count of Opera Hotel consists of 136 rooms, Donbass Palace Hotel - 129 rooms. Both hotels belong to the "five stars" class. The owner of both hotels is the largest Ukrainian holding company in the field of hotel real estate ESTA Holding. In May 2009, representatives of ESTA Holding announced that in anticipation of the European Championship the holding intends to finance the construction of 3-4 * hotels in Dnepropetrovsk, Lvov, Odessa and Kharkov.

Hilton: the first hotel in Kazakhstan
In 2014 Hilton plans to open its first hotel in Kazakhstan. It will be the Hilton Garden Inn Astana. The agreement was signed with the Kazakh developer Astana Development Group.

Mövenpick: the first hotel on Bali
Chain of luxury hotels Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts became another major international player, which decided to enter the Indonesian hotel market. The company announced its plans to open a new hotel on Bali. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran will be the first hotel of the network in Indonesia. Mövenpick hotel will be located on the south Bali near Jimbaran Bay.

London hotels received 120 thousand room refusals. Such an unexpected situation in the hotel market of the capital of Britain happened after the organizers of the 2012 Olympics refused to book accommodation for workers, visitors and journalists, who were to take part in service and coverage of the major sporting event of four years.
