New hotel in Malaysia - from the Hard Rock this time

Hard Rock International Corporation has represented its first hotel in Malaysia. Hard Rock Hotel Penang was opened in one of the most famous resorts of Malaysia - Penang Island, located in the north of the country. In addition to the hotel Hard Rock International presented a new restaurant - Hard Rock Cafe Penang.

Penang Island is known as one of the most respectable holiday destinations in Malaysia. 18 of 22 hotels located on Penang Island are represented by the "five stars" class. Among the types of recreation, which are popular in Penang, are: golf, scuba diving, tennis and windsurfing. Furthermore, Penang is considered to be the culinary capital of Malaysia. In 2004, the British magazine Time named Penang restaurants the best ones in Asia.

Hard Rock Hotel Penang is situated on several acres in the vicinity of one of the best beaches on Batu Ferringhi Island on the north coast of the island. A six-storey building of Hard Rock Hotel Penang implements the traditional well-known standards of the hotel chain: room design, luxurious and modern, is "wrapped" into the attractive shell of rock 'n' roll.

The new hotel in Penang by Hard Rock has 173 rooms including 17 suites. Guests can choose rooms with a sea view, as well as rooms with the views of the picturesque hills of Penang. On the roof of the hotel "Kings Club" is situated – a single night club in the region of Batu Ferringhi.

In addition to the night club, Hard Rock Hotel Penang has the largest swimming pool in Penang with a total area of 9 thousand square meters.

Hard Rock restaurant opened in the hotel also meets the highest standards of the company. Hall with 140 seats, a stage for live performances of rock bands. Traditional menu for the restaurant from the American chain includes several kinds of hamburgers prepared from the special sort of beef. Also in compliance with the tradition of Hard Rock Cafe restaurants, the walls of the restaurant in Penang will be decorated with the things, that once belonged to the world's celebrities. Among the star trophies of Hard Rock Cafe in Penang - leather pants of the member of the group Motley Crue, and the costume of Prince, in which he recorded the legendary Purple Rain.

Rock Shop was also opened in the hotel, where different rock attributes can be obtained: from T-shirts with the Hard Rock brand to lighters and belts.
