Hotels in Abu Dhabi on the eve of the final stage of Formula 1 Grand Prix, which will be held in the capital of the UAE on the 1st of November 2009, offer their guests a special invitation package. The invitation package will be distributed in rooms of Abu Dhabi hotels for free. All the hotels of Abu Dhabi, starting with three class hotels and above, will participate in the promotion action, initiated by the Tourism Department of Abu Dhabi.

In every room of the Abu Dhabi hotel, participating in the action, a whole package of travel materials telling about tourism in the UAE will be available for tourists. The package, which was especially designed for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, includes a welcome letter from the head of the Tourism Department of Abu Dhabi, 35-page brochure that represents tourism in the UAE, the official reference guide, postcards depicting one of the main attractions of Abu Dhabi - the famous Mosque of Sheikh Zayed, 31 flyer for visiting the attractions and cultural monuments of Abu Dhabi and a set of magnets with images of 6 key attractions of the capital of the UAE.

Such an initiative of Tourism Department of Abu Dhabi is aimed to demonstrate the hospitality of the UAE capital, which will receive, according to expectation, about 50 thousand spectators of the final stage of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Abu Dhabi will host the stage of the world famous race for the first time in its history.

Within the framework of preparation for hosting guest of the final stage of Formula 1 Grand Prix, authorities of Emirates also opened 6 new tourist information centers. In 3 of them, located in Al Wahda, Marina & Abu Dhabi malls, competitions on racing simulators will be held for tourists.

Abu Dhabi is currently one of the largest tourist centers in the UAE, yielding the palm only to Dubai. Capital of the UAE is considered one of the largest cities in the Middle East. Today, more than 1400000 people live there. Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi will take place for the first time on Yas Marina Circuit, located on a specially constructed artificial island.
