Company Rezidor announced its plans to open Park Inn hotel in Yaroslavl in the near future. The new hotel will appear in Yaroslavl not until 2013. Park Inn will be designed for 150 rooms. Construction of the hotel will be performed by Regional Hotel Chain LLC. The agreement between Rezidor and Regional Hotel Chain on the joint promotion of the brand Park Inn in the hotel market of Russia was signed in March 2009. Under the terms of the agreement about 20 hotels in major cities of Russia are expected to be opened.

According to Director General of Regional Hotel Chain LLC- Victoria Sobolewskaja, a well-chosen location of the new hotel in close proximity to the railway station of Yaroslavl should contribute to the success of the hotel.

Future Park Inn in Yaroslavl is located 200 meters from the railway station of the city. Besides 150 rooms, the hotel will also include a restaurant, lobby and lounge areas, fitness room and several meeting rooms.

Today, Yaroslavl is one of the key cities of the Golden Ring - a popular tourist route, passing through old Russian cities. Yaroslavl is popular among foreign tourists due to historical monuments of the period of 14-15 centuries. However, despite considerable interest from foreign tourists, there is a lack of middle class hotels in Yaroslavl. New Park Inn in Yaroslavl should help to improve the situation in the hotel market of the city.

To date, hotel chain Rezidor is one of the fastest growing hotel companies. Rezidor’s portfolio includes more than 130 hotels, represented by different brands. Some of these hotels are still under construction. Among the Park Inn hotels in Russia, which will be opened in the nearest future in cooperation between Rezidor and Regional Hotel Chain, are: Park Inn in Kazan and Park Inn in Astrakhan. The opening of both hotels will take place in 2010. Today, Park Inn hotels in Russia have been already opened in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Voronezh and Ryazan.
