Hotel operator Rezidor Hotel Group continues its active expansion of the hotel market in Africa. This time, Rezidor has presented its new hotel in Tunisia. It is a luxury five-star hotel Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso in Monastir resort on the Mediterranean coast of Tunisia. New hotel with all its beaches occupy a total area of five hectares. Its capacity is 280 rooms. Every room of Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso hotel has a terrace or balcony with a view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso – is not just a hotel. Recreation in Tunisia, well-known throughout North Africa due to the wide array of recreational activities impacted on the services offered by the hotel. Thalassotherapy, algotherapy - the main method of healing and rejuvenation, which Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso offers to its guests. Spacious Thal'ion Thalasso, located at the hotel on a total area of more than 20 thousand square meters, provides services for recovery and rehabilitation with the use of sea water. A wide range of spa treatments is presented in another salon - Cinq Mondes Spa. Both centers are planned to be opened a little later - in early 2010.

The fact that the spa vacation is the main direction in the Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso is once again highlighted by the hotel arrangement. The entire top floor of Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso is occupied the luxurious, spacious spa rooms where guests have the opportunity to use separate Jacuzzi and beauty rooms.

Hotel Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso became the second hotel in Tunisia for Rezidor. The first hotel was opened in the resort of Djerba in mid-summer 2009.

Holidays in Tunis become more and more popular among the tourists from Russia and CIS. Thus, the total number of tourists from Russia, who visited resorts of Tunisia in 2008 increased by 15% compared to 2007. Almost twice as many Russians used the services of the famous Tunisian thalassotherapy centers.
