Hotel giant Accor continues its expansion in the Middle East. Among the nearest plans of the chain – opening of a new hotel in Dubai. It will be Ibis Al Rigga. The opening of Ibis Al Rigga will be significant for Accor - it will be the first hotel of the company in 2010. The opening of Ibis Al Rigga is scheduled for March 2010.

The Ibis brand, which offers hotels of economy class, is already well represented in the Middle East. In total, in the UAE and other countries of the region there are already 7 hotel of this brand. The opening of another economy class hotel in Dubai is more than evidence of the emerging global trend of growth in demand for budget hotels.

Location - this is one of the main advantages of Ibis hotel. The new Ibis Al Rigga is located in the historic district of Dubai, near the international airport of the Emirate, a few steps away from Al Gurair mall, the Museum of Dubai and Creek Golf Club. The hotel will be designed for 280 rooms, each equipped with internet access. The hotel has a separate covered parking and a fitness center. A round the clock bar will be opened in the hotel. In addition, Ibis Al Rigga provides rooms for smoking guests and for tourists with disabilities.

The Ibis hotel chain is actively expanding today on young and promising markets in the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe. In this year Accor plans to continue expansion of the brand in Asia. Four new Ibis hotel in such countries as Kuwait, Bahrain, as well as the UAE are scheduled to be opened in the next 2 years.

To date, there are already 4 hotels in Dubai under the Ibis brand: Ibis Dubai World Trade Centre, Ibis Dubai Mall, Ibis Deira City Centre, Ibis Al Barsha. Among the other hotels in the Middle East by Ibis: Ibis Amman in Jordan, Ibis Salmiya in Kuwait and the Ibis Muscat in Oman.
