On the 10th of March 2010 one of the biggest tourism exhibitions in the world - ITB Berlin will start. Despite some slowdown in the global travel industry, the organizers of the current ITB Berlin expect that the exhibition will be successful. At this time, the official sponsor of the exhibition is the Turkey, which stand with a total area of 3000 square meters will be one of the biggest.
By tradition, a broad representation of major international hotel chains will be seen at the ITB. Hilton, Starwood, Kempiniski, Marriott and other well-known global hotel brands will represent their stands there. It is expected that a number of hotel companies will present at the current ITB their new products, new hotels and discount programs.
One of the central places, which will attract the attention of specialists in the exhibition, will be Career Center ITB. A dream job will be possible to be found in Hall 5.1. A wide range of leading companies, including Accor, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group, the Spanish chain NH Hotels, will take part in the ITB CareerCenter. In total, 73 employers will be represented in the center. Jobs in hotels and in tourism: in ITB CareerCenter many hotel operators present their vacant jobs in hotels around the world, as well introduce their own training programs to visitors.
It is expected that the number of visitors of ITB 2010 will be about 170 000 people. It is expected that over 10 000 companies from around the world will take part in the current exhibition. Last year the exhibition was visited by about 110 00 people and 42% of visitors were from foreign countries.
The opening of the ITB Berlin for professionals in the field of tourism will take place on the 10th of March 2010. On the 13th and 14th of March the exhibition will be open to all comers.

Mövenpick: the first hotel on Bali
Chain of luxury hotels Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts became another major international player, which decided to enter the Indonesian hotel market. The company announced its plans to open a new hotel on Bali. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran will be the first hotel of the network in Indonesia.
