In one of the best hotels in Moscow appeared a new director

Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow - the flagship of the Kempinski chain in Russia and one of the best hotels in Moscow - introduced its new director. Gerhard Mitrovic replaced at the position of the manager of the Baltschug Gianni van Daalen.

Gerhard Mitrovic, a native Austrian, before coming to Moscow headed the reconstruction and opening of the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, which was a historic event for Jakarta. Previously, Mr. Mitrovic has been the director of 5-star hotel "Shteingenberger Frankfurter Hof", a leading hotel of the Shteingenberger chain and contributed to its considerable success: under his leadership the hotel entered the list of 40 leading hotels in the world.

In Moscow Mr. Mitrovica will manage Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow with total capacity of 230 rooms and suites - the first international five star hotel in Moscow, a member of "Leading Hotels of the World" association.

Gerhard Mitrovica has 40-year successful career in the hotel industry, he managed more than 4000 rooms on four continents: from the Hotel Grand Hyatt Taipei to the hotels of Intercontinetal in New York, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Cairo and Austria.

On his way to the career of the hotel owner, which began in catering, Mr. Mitrovic has received many distinguished and prestigious awards, including the "Best Hotel Manager 2007" according to Busche - ARAL Publishing House in Germany. In 1985 he received the title of "the best manager in the field of catering" from West Germany's association of Brillat Savarin, and in 2002 - «Brillat Savarin Industry Award».

Over the last 10 years Gerhard Mitrovic has been an active member of the World club of managers. In June, he headed the Moscow branch of the culinary guild «Chaine des Rottiseurs», where he will be able to fully develop his talents and experience in fine cuisine and catering, and expand the activities of the club. Also, Mr. Mitrovic has been appointed for the post of chairman of the Council of the Association of European Business Tourism and hotel business in Moscow.
