Carpathian hotels invite to a festival of new wine

Young wine festivals have become a common tradition in France, Italy, Spain and Germany. Ukraine also tries not to lag behind the world's leading winemakers. In late autumn Carpathian hotels invite guests to the “Transcarpathian Beaujolais” festival.

Festival of young wine "Transcarpathian Beaujolais" is traditionally held in Uzhgorod, the center of Transcarpathian region of Ukraine, on the third weekend of November. The festival has become a real tradition of this historic town – for the 17th consecutive year it receives here young wine amateurs and just lovers of bright, romantic Carpathian autumn.

This year top winemakers of Ukraine will present a new crop on 20 and 21 of November. Within two days of the festival guests will be able to taste 15 varieties of young wine produced exclusively from classic European grape varieties.

The charm of the “Transcarpathian Beaujolais” festival is not only in free tasting “as much as you like” - here you can thoroughly and enthusiastically talk about the history and traditions of the Transcarpathian winemaking, secrets of good wine selection and a centuries-old culture of its consumption. In your power to determine the best winemaker of the festival by taking part in the voting, you also can win prizes with elegant symbols of the festival.

On the occasion “Reikartz Carpathians” and “Reikartz Polyana” prepared a present for the guests - a free trip on a comfortable bus to the venue of the festival with an experienced guide. Along the way guests can enjoy fascinating stories about the legends and traditions of the Carpathians, excursion and mysterious castle Palanok in Mukachevo, tasting of honey and many other surprises and discoveries.
