The smallest hotel, Sleepbox capsule hotel with an area of 3.75 m2 developed by the Russian architectural bureau Arch Group, will appear in the near future not only in Moscow, but probably in many European cities.

Russian capsule hotel Sleepbox is an improved and adapted to Russian conditions prototype of the invention of the world famous Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa. Russian capsule hotel Sleepbox is designed not only to save a large amount of the traveler’s time, but also to give the opportunity to relax in anticipation of train or plane, or simply relax in the aggressive conditions of the modern city.

The first capsule hotel, invented by Kisho Kurokawa, was opened in Osaka in 1979. The invention of the Japanese genius is a capsule with the size of 2×1×1.25 meters and represents a minimum set of facilities for recreation.

The new Russian invention, Sleepbox capsule hotel, is a mobile box of 2x1, 4 meters, in which there is the place for luggage and a bed with automatic change of linen. For the maximum comfort leisure conditions, each capsule is equipped with its own ventilation system, portable fridge, built-in TV, outlets for charging mobile devices, as well as wireless internet access.

According to the developers, new Sleepbox capsule hotels will be in demand not only in the areas of maximum traffic flow, such as railway stations and airports, but also in places of high public activity in the vicinity of the exhibition and hotel facilities, public and commercial centers.

Booking of a capsule hotel requires a minimum rental of not less than 15 minutes. The cost is varied.
