An authoritative U.S. edition Travel + Leisure published a list of 50 best new hotels in the world, which were opened during last six months. This is the sixth such list, which Travel + Leisure presented to its readers. The magazine also noted such well-known hotel premieres as new St.Regis hotel in the Tibetan capital Lhasa, or another creation of Donald Trump - Trump SoHo skyscraper hotel in New York.

Given the fact that Travel + Leisure is published in the U.S., it is not surprising that among the best new hotels 8 of them are located in the U.S. This is the biggest representation for a single country in the list. As for the regions, so here Europe and Asia are represented by equal number of hotels - 12. The largest number of new hotels among the best hotel chains holds Starwood. The list includes 4 hotel corporations.

Its list Travel + Leisure divided into thematic groups. Thus, separate groups include hotels, beach hotels, designer hotels, historic hotels and resort hotels. Below is presented the published list.
