In February 2011 the company announced about the acquisition of the legendary luxury Selenza de Madrid hotel, which had previously belonged to the other major Spanish hotel company - Grupo Rayet.

All three acquired hotels will be positioned under the new brand Único Hotels, which must emphasize their special status. So, hotels in Barcelona and Madrid are considered to be historic sights. Grand Central Hotel Barcelona was built in 1926, while Selenza de Madrid - in the 19th century.
