Melia Hotels International announces the opening of its second hotel in the U.S. The new Melia Orlando Hotel at Celebration was constructed near the city of Orlando. Previously the hotel was known as the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel. Melia Hotels hotel chain fully rebranded the hotel to meet its own quality standards.

The hotel offers its guests 240 rooms, including luxury suites. The hotel is situated near the main entertainment centers and attractions in Orlando, including the world famous Walt Disney World park.

Opening of the second Melia Hotels hotel in the United States will strengthen its positions on a relatively new U.S. market. Earlier this year Melia Hotels introduced its first hotel in the U.S., which was opened in Atlanta - Melia Atlanta Hotel.

Opening of the hotel near Orlando means for Melia Hotels strengthening of its positions in the second most popular tourist destination in the U.S. - Orlando.

Melia Orlando Hotel at Celebration was planned to be a complex of residences. Most of his apartments were to be luxurious, including fully equipped kitchens, spacious balconies, restaurants, and the hotel golf course.

Celebration, where was opened a new hotel of the Melia network, is a part of the entertainment concept, which is implemented by the Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney Company developed Celebration as a suburb of Orlando. To date in Celebration live approximately 7000 people.

The guests of the Melia Orlando Hotel at Celebration are offered a spa and a fitness center, which is located in the heart of the village. The guests can use bicycles and electric cars at the golf course. Also the guests can get to the Disney World on special buses.

USA is not the first country of the in the Western Hemisphere, where Melia opened its hotels. Puerto Rico, Mexico and Dominican Republic – in all these countries Melia Hotels International operates its hotels for many years. In total the network includes 350 hotels worldwide. In 2011 the network was totally rebranded and changed the name from Sol Melia to Melia Hotels International. In the U.S. Melia Hotels International coordinates its policy on increasing its representation with one of the largest hotel companies in the world - Wyndham.
