The hotel is located just behind the famous Excel exhibition center. Starwood serves as the management company, while the hotel owner is ADNEC company from Abu Dhabi, which owns the exhibition center and another hotel of the Aloft brand in Abu Dhabi.

New Aloft London Excel is designed for 252 rooms. Its design is determined by the surrounding landscape - the former London port area Docklands, which previously was an industrial center of the city, and today turned into one of the most demanded real estate development projects on the Thames.

Interior of the rooms in the new hotel is described in its title – loft – a large residential real estate in high-tech style, which is usually built in the territory of the former industrial enterprises. And industrial style in the Aloft London Excel hotel, as in luxury hotels, combines perfect taste, attention to details and variety of the latest technological developments.

Aloft London Excel was the first Aloft hotel in the UK.

Technology is one of the Aloft London Excel features. Guests of the hotel can use a mass of overt and covert technical improvements both in the rooms and the lobby. The basic design feature of the rooms will be the availability to connect almost any digital device to the huge TV panel (42 inches).

Among the hotel services can be noted fitness center re:charge, bars re:mix and w xyz.

To date, Aloft brand is presented by 50 hotels around the world from Beijing to London. All hotels combine minimalist design and unique set of technological innovations. One of the Starwood priorities is to continue the development of the Aloft brand in the markets of Australia and the Asian-Pacific region.
