Rezidor will open a new hotel in Amsterdam

Rezidor Hotel Group has announced its plans to open a new hotel in Amsterdam. It will be a hotel of the Park Inn brand, which will offer its services near the main airport of the Dutch capital - Schiphol.

Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam Schiphol hotel will include 150 rooms. Opening of the new hotel is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2012. For the Rezidor it will be the first hotel of the Park Inn brand in the Netherlands.

The hotel will be located in a former office building on the territory of the Schiphol Rijk office park. To date, Schiphol Rijk is one of the largest business centers in Amsterdam. Here are located offices of many major corporations, including KLM, TUI Airlines and Nokia Siemens Networks.

Despite the fact that the new Park Inn hotel is positioned as a hotel close to the airport, Schiphol terminal are located 5 kilometers from here.

The mid-price segment, in which offer its services Park Inn brand hotels, in the case of the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam Schiphol, allows its guests to count on European comfort with the availability of the necessary accommodation services. Guests of the hotel are provided with parking for 150 places, restaurant, gym, conference room with the total area of 150 square meters.

The main investor of the project is the company Chalet Group, which manages about 90 property objects in the Netherlands and Germany. The main specialization of the Chalet Group is rebuilding of the office buildings for the new needs, including creation of hotels on such territories.

Chalet Group intends to continue cooperation with Rezidor Hotel Group in the future. Both companies may be interested in the development of joint enterprises in the region of Northern Europe. The Netherlands can be a launching pad for a massive expansion of the Rezidor Hotel Group brands with the assistance of the Chalet Group.
