The Christmas premiere of DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station took place in Amsterdam. Once known as the Mint Hotel Amsterdam, this hotel is one of eight Mint hotels, presented in the Netherlands and the UK.

According to Simon Vincent, the president of Hilton Worldwide in Europe, since 2008 Hilton has opened 25 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in Europe, additional 25 hotels are under development.

Hotel for 553 rooms opened in June can boast of its major location next to the Centraal Station in the historic city center. It is located less than in two kilometers away from the Dam Square and such key attractions as the Leidseplein, the Van Gogh and Anne Frank Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the world famous canals. Thus, DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station is equally suitable for tourist and business trips.

DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station has modern architectural design, characterized by transparency and diversity. Each room and conference hall, restaurant and bar are installed huge from floor to ceiling windows that make the room filled with natural light and spectacular city views. Open areas such as balconies and verandas on the waterfront, in the courtyard and on the roof allow each guest to enjoy the serenity of the city in the hotel.

Spacious and comfortable rooms and suites offer a wide variety of both conventional and innovative amenities, including: Apple iMac, which can also serve as a TV, large work desk and all necessary coffee and tea appliances in the room. Free high-speed Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station has one of the city’s most spacious places for business meetings, conferences and other events. Accelerated integration of the seven remaining Mint hotels with the Hilton Worldwide brands will be completed in early 2012.
