Hotels 2012: new horizons for hotel chains

Hotel chains will present in 2012 new hotels at various resorts and capitals around the world
On the eve of the current tourist season a number of well-known hotel chains publish its plans on brands expanding around the world. The trend remains the same - hotel markets in India and China are among the top priorities, followed closely by the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.
 

One of the Marriott luxury hotel giant subsidiaries - Renaissance - in 2012 will get nine new hotels in the world's leading tourist centers. New hotels are to be opened in Barcelona, Rome, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi and Istanbul. China has a special status - in 2012 here will be opened three new Renaissance hotels in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Huizhou. Among the nine hotels the most anticipated event is opening of Renaissance Barcelona Hotel on April 26.

Hilton corporation, in addition to its ambitious plans of developing the network in Eastern Europe and Asia, also pay attention to Central and South America. This year in the region can be presented at least two new products of the company. Hilton is preparing to introduce its new hotel in Lima (Peru) and Mexico at the health resort of Puerto Vallarta located on the Pacific coast. Currently Hilton manages 46 hotels in Latin America.

Hyatt still follows the worldwide hotel expansion trend. In 2012 the company will present its first Park Hyatt hotel in India. It will be the Park Hyatt Hyderabad.

Carlson Rezidor Group also considers India as one of the main priorities. Already in early 2011 the company reported about its plans to open during a year 19 hotels across the country under various brand names. Today Carlson Rezidor Group continues to scare the competitors with its big plans. By 2024 the company intends to open at least 49 Park Inn hotels across India. In addition, by 2015 Carlson Rezidor is preparing to introduce in Indian cities 100 more its hotels under the brands Radisson, Park Plaza and others. Currently the company has 52 hotels in India in its portfolio.
