Today Spanish hotel market is experiencing restructuring phase. Many well-known hotel companies in the country sell their assets in order to focus on niche products. One of the striking examples is another major network in Spain - Melia Hotels - which at the end of 2011 sold five its hotels in order to secure repayment of the credit debts. At that time the deal was accounted at about 100 million euros.
