In 2014 Hilton plans to open its first hotel in Kazakhstan. It will be the Hilton Garden Inn Astana. The agreement was signed with the Kazakh developer Astana Development Group.

Chain of luxury hotels Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts became another major international player, which decided to enter the Indonesian hotel market. The company announced its plans to open a new hotel on Bali. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran will be the first hotel of the network in Indonesia.
