Travel information

When travelling from Dublin (N8), follow the Cork city centre signs into the Dunkettle Roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N8 ramp to Corcaigh/Cork/N20/Luimneach/Limerick. Take the 1st exit at the next roundabout - (Lota roundabout). Continue straight ahead along the Lower Glanmire Road following the city centre signs. Turn left at Water Street (you can't go straight ahead) and continue along Horgans Quay (river is on your left). Continue straight ahead passing 4 bridges on your left (river is on your left always). Once you have passed the 4th bridge on your left take the immediate right up Musgrave Road pass the Dominican Centre (yellow & pink building) on your left. The Maldron Hotel Cork City is halfway up this hill/road, take the second left. When travelling from Waterford or Rosslare (N25), follow the Cork city centre signs taking the 1st exit at the Lota roundabout. Continue straight ahead along the Lower Glanmire Road following the city centre signs. Turn left at Water Street (you can't go straight ahead) and continue driving along Horgans Quay, (river is on your left). Continue straight ahead passing 4 bridges on your left (river is always on your left). Once you have passed the 4th bridge on your left take the immediate right up Musgrave Road pass the Dominican Centre ( yellow and pink building) on your left. The Maldron Hotel Cork is halfway up this hill/road, take the 2nd left. From Limerick (N20) From the Limerick direction (N20), carry straight on following signs for City Centre, until you have passed Blackpool Shopping Centre. At the next set of traffic lights you need to turn right. Continue straight on now, passing Heineken Ireland on your right until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn right at these traffic lights and take the immediate right again up Musgrave Road pass the Dominican Centre (yellow & pink building) on your left. The Maldron Hotel Cork City is halfway up this hill/road, take the second left. Parking at the Maldron Hotel Cork There are complimentary but limited car park facilities at the hotel. Disc parking is available on the street outside the hotel from Monday to Saturday from 08.30-18.30 (2 hours max). Outside of these hours and on Sundays and bank holidays street parking is free of charge. You can purchase a parking disc from our reception. Alternatively there is Carroll’s Quay multi-storey car park a 3 minute walk away. Reduced rates are available for hotel guests at Carroll's Quay car park.

Important information

There is limited free parking available. Paid parking outside the hotel operates from Monday to Saturday 08:30-18:30, Sundays and Bank Holidays are free. Carroll’s Quay multi-story car park is nearby and hotel guests receive discounted rates.
