Arlberghaus Zürs Description

The Arlberghaus is a modern 4-star-hotel right in the centre of Zürs, the cradle of Alpine skiing. Enjoy skiing at the highest level: the ski runs end directly at the hotel door, while the ski lifts and the cable car are just 150 metres from the hotel. The meeting place of the ski school and the ski kindergarten are right next to the hotel as well. Comfortably start your day at the delicious breakfast buffet before you enjoy the superb ski runs and deep snow hills around Zürs. Before settling down for dinner at the hotel restaurant, relax in the sauna or steam bath, use the fitness room or enjoy a massage at the Arlberghaus’s spa centre.

Food & beverage

Enjoy delicious meals and great wines in the smoke-free hotel restaurant. Choose between several main courses, enjoy the vegetarian meal and help yourself at the farmers’ buffet (once a week), at the salad bar or the cheese board. In the evening a fondue can be served instead of the normal dinner (on previous request during breakfast). Food allergies can be taken into account on request.

Area information

The Arlberg region, with Zürs right in the centre, is the cradle of Alpine skiing. People have been skiing here since before 1900, the first skiing lesson took place in Zürs in 1904 and the first ski lift in Austria was built here in 1937. Whereas in those days 150 people per hour were transported, today the modern ski lifts are able to transport up to 3,600 people.
