The Smilen Hotel situated in the Rhodope mountain is the perfect place for a comfortable winter or summer holiday, a great family vacation or small private or business events. Thanks to the unique location at an altitude of 1350 metres, 5 km away from the centre of Smolyan and 3.5 km away from the ski slopes of the Pamporovo ski resort, you may choose from numerous ski slopes just 10 minutes from the hotel. A relaxing massage, a visit to the sauna or the steam bath are always welcome after a day on the snowy slopes or after hiking on scenic mountain paths and before having a good time at the fireplace in the lobby bar.

The dining hall and the restaurant’s terrace offer lovely views of the Rhodope mountains' surroundings, tasty traditional local dishes and great hospitality. At night, the warmth of a large fireplace adds to the romantic setting of the room. The wine cellar boasts 60 carefully selected Bulgarian and foreign wines, and the restaurant menu features traditional Rhodope cuisine along with various European and exotic dishes.

The hotel can accommodate up to 45 guests in its 17 double guest rooms and in one apartment (36 beds and 9 extra beds). The majority of the rooms provide a sitting area and an additional bed is available. 3 of them are with fireplaces. The rooms are situated in the main building, on the second and third floors, beautifully appointed and tastefully furnished with modern conveniences - all the comforts you need for a relaxing escape. All the rooms are sunny, facing south, and offer lovely views of the surrounding meadow, the lake and the rocks.
