The Stag at Redhill is a family-run hotel located in the heart of Warwickshire's beautiful countryside, on the A46, between Stratford and Alcester and just 3 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon. The hotel is housed in an impressive 500-year old building, full of character, with many original features. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and television and a king size four-poster room is also available. Guests may wish to explore the many quaint bars, restaurants and theatres that historic Stratford-upon-Avon has to offer, absorbing the heritage of Shakespeare's birthplace. The Stag at Redhill boasts a traditional restaurant and bar with beamed ceilings and an open fireplace offering a cosy, inviting atmosphere.

The Stag at Redhill has a long and distinguished history. It started life as Stratfords court room and jail, very evident when you walk around and see the original cell door and many of the original cell windows cast in iron.

Room information

We have 7 rooms arranged around a courtyard accessible from outside the hotel and a further 3 rooms on the 1st floor of the main building. All rooms are en suite with both showers or baths available (room 7 has both). We have one 2 floor suite, twin, double and single rooms as well as 2 family rooms for 3 or 4 guests.

Travel information

By Rail: Stratford is easily accessible by rail, with regular services form Birmingham and London. By Air: Stratford's position in centre of England make it accessible from most major UK airports. Birmingham International airport is less than 20 miles away.
