Visit and take a tour of the Warsteiner Brewery and take a trip to the Warsteiner theme park, 15 km from the hotel. There is also an adventure theme park in Bestwig-Wasserfall. The Abtei Königsmünster cloisters in Meschede are worth a visit or you can take a boat trip on the Hennesee and explore the beautiful nature of the Sauerland region. The nearby lakes Möhnesee, Sorpesee und Biggesee are pretty day trip destinations. There are coal mines and a local history museum to visit nearby.

Coming from the north: A 2 exit Rheda/Wiedenbrueck - via B 55 direction Lippstadt/ Meschede -> reaching Meschede follow the signs to Hennesee. Coming from the south-west: A 45 exit Olpe - via B 55 direction Meschede - before reaching Meschede you will see the hotel on the banks of the Hennesee. Coming from the south-east: Via Wuerzburg and Fulda direction Kassel - A 44 direction Dortmund - exit Erwitt/Anroechte - B 55 direction Meschede - follow the signs to Hennesee.
