Comprising a carefully restored 18th century country manor house and cereal farm, this complex also has medieval cave accommodation. Guadix is a pretty town situated in the province of Granada and is considered one of the oldest human settlements in Spain. The main complex building is an attractive, period home built using traditional wood and stone materials. It has been restored preserving many of the original features and its rustic charm. There are 4 bedrooms in the establishment. The grounds are enclosed and full of century-old trees. The establishment boasts facilities such as a large swimming pool, a barbecue area, landscaped gardens and parking. Its location affords you excellent transport connections.

Hotel information

All guests, both from the hotel mansion and the cave rooms can make use of the swimming pool, barbecue area, gardened area and parking facilities. The complex is found in an enclosed area with access for people with reduced mobility.

Room information

The complex offers two types of accommodation: In the main building there are 4 comfortable suites on offer, some of them with a fireplace. They have 2 single beds and a sofa bed for 2 people. The 12 cave house rooms have been renovated preserving the original style, with some different architectural characteristics. Inside the caves you will experience a naturally constant temperature throughout the year. The rooms are also completely absent of any noise. They have a double room, a lounge dining room with kitchen and a sofa bed for 2 people.

Area information

The complex is situated only 3 km from the monumental town of Guadix, in the direction of Baza. The surrounding area offers excellent transport connections. Guadix is situated in the heart of the province of Granada, surrounded by the Sierra Nevada, the Huetor-Santillán, the Sierra de Castril and the Sierra de Baza National Parks. The complex is also near to Jaén. Only 45 minutes away you can also get to the Cabo de Gata National Park in Almeria.

Important information

In order to enter the property where the hotel is located you have to go through two automatic gates. The hotel will email you the access code once you have made the reservation. Once you get there, you can also get the code by calling the mobile number displayed at the gate. Please note that the swimming pool will be open from 15 June until 15 September 2011. Pets under 5 kg are welcome. Please note that any additional guests will be accommodated in extra beds of 0.80 metres (see Hotel Policies).
