Kempinski Hotel group has signed a contract to manage three 5-star hotels - in Yekaterinburg, Yerevan and Marienbad (Marianske Lazne, Czech Republic).

Kempinski hotel in Yekaterinburg is a modern 24-storey building that will be constructed on an area of 1.468 sq.m on Gogol street, one of the central in the city. The hotel promises to be a popular destination for business people, who visit the capital of the Urals. Nearby are located the U.S., Great Britain, Hungary and the Czech Republic consulates, a major business complex and numerous boutiques. Kempinski Hotel Ekaterinburg will offer its guests 200 spacious and luxuriously decorated rooms, suites and residences. In the hotel will be opened four restaurants and bars, which menu will be full of gastronomic delights for every taste. Ballroom will be an ideal venue for receptions, conferences and banquets, including wedding ceremonies and cocktails.

The hotel will also have the first Russian spa Kempinski The Spa on the area of over 1000 sq.m. Kempinski The Spa are known for wide selection of phytotherapeutic procedures and individually selected seasonal programs. Spa Center in Yekaterinburg will be equipped with a swimming pool, fitness center and sauna. Also, the project provides for an open parking.

The new Kempinski Hotel in Yekaterinburg is another flagship project of the company after the contracts to manage hotels in Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don and Novosibirsk.

The first Kempinski hotel in Armenia will be Kempinski Hotel Yerevan. It will be located on the Amirian Street, in the Kentron district, not far from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Five-star luxury hotel will offer its guests 150 spacious and elegantly decorated rooms and suites. The hotel, which opening is scheduled on 2013, will be an ideal place for travelers with the most exacting tastes – both from Armenia and other states. Kempinski Hotel will be located near major attractions: the Republic Square, the Cascade, numerous churches and cathedrals.

Spa vacation for Kempinski is a traditional area of network development for several dozens of years. This time, the new resort, where the German hotel operator will open its doors is Marianske Lazne in the Czech Republic. Kempinski Hotel Marienbad at the famous Czech spa resort promises to be another gem in the collection of Kempinski hotels. The town of Mariánské LáznÄ›, previously Marienbad, is a popular holiday destination of aristocrats and has long been famous for its mineral springs, picturesque mountain landscapes and European architecture of XIX century. After the renovation of the spa-hotel under the management of Kempinski will retain its historic appearance.

Kempinski Hotel Marienbad will be surrounded by green parks and historical buildings. Boutique hotel for 80 rooms will receive its first guests in 2012.

The complex will be proud of its medical and wellness center, which programs will be developed personally by a world-renowned specialist Dr. Alex Vitasek. Medical developments of the doctor Vitaseka are widely used in many clinics and spa centers in the world, including Lanserhof center in Innsbruck. The new spa in Marienbad will also offer wellness programs based on the medicinal properties of local mineral springs. There are about 40 sources in Marienbad and more than 100 in its suburbs. All sources are cold (7-10 degrees Celsius) and are a natural phenomenon due to the high degree of mineralization. In addition to health-improving the guests of the Kempinski Hotel Marienbad will be able to practice mini-golf, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, fitness, fishing, hunting, skiing and mountain biking.

Particular attention during the construction will be paid to environmental planning. The complex will be equipped with a landing platform, which will deliver the goods to the hotel with minimal damage to the environment. On the territory of the hotel will be created winter gardens, applied roofs.

Project in Marienbad will be the second hotel in the Czech Republic for the hotel group Kempinski after opening in 2008 Hotel Kempinski Hybernska Prague.
