Aloft will open a new hotel at IPad’s homeland

Aloft is an innovative hotel chain from the portfolio of the Starwood hotel giant, which will open its new hotel in a place that promises to give a positive effect on the image of the hotel chain worldwide. Aloft intends to present a new hotel in Cupertino - a city that is considered to be the heart of the famous Silicon Valley. Here in Cupertino started its way the most famous Apple products, including IPhone and IPad.

It is expected that the hotel will receive its first guests in early 2013. For Aloft the new hotel will be the third in California and second in the Silicon Valley. In 2012 the company introduced its hotel near the airport terminals in San Francisco.

Aloft will manage the hotel under the franchise agreement. The hotel itself is owned by Shashi Corporation and Somera Capital Management investment companies. Shashi Corporation is known as one of the largest real estate companies in Cupertino, which Somera Capital Management specializes in financing boutique hotels.

Aloft Cupertino hotel will be designed for 123 rooms. The hotel will be equipped with the latest technology using unique design solutions and loft concept for most rooms, which creates special atmosphere emphasizing special status of Cupertino as IT capital of the world.

Hotel owners themselves say that the possibility of opening a hotel in Cupertino is a unique opportunity for further successful promotion of innovative Aloft brand in the world markets.

Among the features of the new hotel are 24h fitness center, indoor pool and w xyz sm bar. Nearby are located the University of Santa Clara, headquarters of IBM, Apple and HP. Also in the immediate vicinity are available numerous golf clubs.
