German portal presented the 20 most hospitable cities in the world

(0) marks: 0Company Hotel.de AG, which offers booking of hotels all over the world, presented the top tourist destinations, which is based on the results 2008. Hotel.info - portal, owned by a group hotel.de - conducted a user survey, wherein hundreds of thousands of people have taken part. Each of them rated a particular city using ten-point scale. Rating by Hotel.info was calculated for hotels in the cities by price-quality ratio and was intended to give an objective assessment of the hotel service level.
Hotels of the particular price sector – 3-4 * were chosen for Hotel.info survey. The list of twenty major world tourist destinations, hotels of which best of all reflected the customer’s view of the descent level of hotel service, was compiled as a result of the survey.
The capital of Japan became the leader among the most hospitable cities. Hotels in Tokyo have been recognized by users of Hotel.info as the best ones in quality of service and the proposed prices. The two European capitals are also among three leaders. Hotels in Lisbon and Prague struck a chord with respondents to the survey. Grades, given to those cities, allowed them to take the second and third places respectively.
Among the cities, hospitality of which helped them to get into the top-twenty by Hotel.info, are: Madrid, Rio, Paris and Rome. However, the service and prices in hotels of New York, London and Moscow were not sufficiently good for voters. None of these cities has appeared among top-twenty hotels.

Hilton: the first hotel in Kazakhstan
In 2014 Hilton plans to open its first hotel in Kazakhstan. It will be the Hilton Garden Inn Astana. The agreement was signed with the Kazakh developer Astana Development Group.

Mövenpick: the first hotel on Bali
Chain of luxury hotels Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts became another major international player, which decided to enter the Indonesian hotel market. The company announced its plans to open a new hotel on Bali. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran will be the first hotel of the network in Indonesia. Mövenpick hotel will be located on the south Bali near Jimbaran Bay.

London hotels: 120 thousand refusals from booked rooms
London hotels received 120 thousand room refusals. Such an unexpected situation in the hotel market of the capital of Britain happened after the organizers of the 2012 Olympics refused to book accommodation for workers, visitors and journalists, who were to take part in service and coverage of the major sporting event of four years.
