(0) marks: 0On the 9th of November 2009 the biggest tourism exhibitions in the world - World Travel Market – opens in London. As in previous years, WTM 2009 will take place on the territory of the exhibition complex ExCeL.
Over 50 000 professionals from more than 180 countries take part in World Travel Market every year. The most relevant directions of tourism development and trends for the coming year are demonstrated at the WTM in London. In 2009 World Travel Market celebrates its thirtieth birthday. Many titled guests, including the Mayor of London, are expected on the opening day of WTM exhibition.
Presence and World Travel Market, for any representative of the tourist industry – is a matter of prestige. As to hotel industry, World Travel Market - is an opportunity for further services advertisement, as well as a platform for the launch of new projects. Almost all major global hotel chains - Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, Accor - are presented at the WTM by individual hotels or entire chains.
Those who intend to visit the World Travel Market 2009, but has not chosen yet a London hotel to stay during the exhibition, the portal city-of-hotels.com prepared a list of several hotels which a relocate in close proximity to the exhibition complex ExCeL. ExCeL Exhibition Center is located in the London docks. In a couple of kilometers to the west of it three is a huge area of hotels, which offer their services to visitors and exhibitors of World Travel Market 2009.

Novotel London ExCeL Hotel – this is another hotel of the French Corporation Accor. Located next to Ibis Hotel, it offers four-star accommodation in London docks. Spacious rooms and double beds, separate bath and shower, round the clock service, internet access and mini bar are available in all 257 hotel rooms.
Ramada Hotel & Suites - fitness center, superb view over the Royal Docks, Stresa restaurant and Oval bar with wi-fi, comfortable and practical conference centers. Ramada Hotel chain even in this hotel adheres to the chosen style of comfortable accommodation organization mainly for business travelers.
Apart-Hotel The Grain Store Apartments - one of the newest apartment hotel near the exhibition center, which is housed in the former commercial warehouse. Stern appearance of Grain Store Apartments shelters behind its walls cozy and spacious two-three-room five-star hotels. Room rates - from 190 euros.
The Sunborn Yacht Hotel – hotel-yacht, located on the Docklands berth directly at the eastern entrance of the ExCel. The Sunborn Yacht Hotel – is, perhaps, the most luxurious hotel near the exhibition center. The hotel has about 100 rooms.

Mövenpick: the first hotel on Bali
Chain of luxury hotels Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts became another major international player, which decided to enter the Indonesian hotel market. The company announced its plans to open a new hotel on Bali. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran will be the first hotel of the network in Indonesia. Mövenpick hotel will be located on the south Bali near Jimbaran Bay.

London hotels received 120 thousand room refusals. Such an unexpected situation in the hotel market of the capital of Britain happened after the organizers of the 2012 Olympics refused to book accommodation for workers, visitors and journalists, who were to take part in service and coverage of the major sporting event of four years.

The most expensive ski hotel in the world is located in France
Suites de la Potiniere received the status of the most luxurious hotel after the average value of standard rooms at all luxury hotels participating in the study was calculated. During the study were taken into account prices offered by the hotels for the period from January to March 2012. The cost of a room in a five-star Suites de la Potiniere hotel was $1958 per night.
