Hotel Show 2012 in Dubai

Hotel Show 2012, one of the largest exhibitions of the hotel industry in the Middle East, will be held from 15 to 17 May, 2012 in Dubai. This year the exhibition will be held for the 13th times. It is expected that this year's event will attract about 15,000 hotel industry professionals from around the world.

Currently for hotel developers the Middle East and North African hotel market is one of the most promising in the world. The total cost of projects that are now being realized in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar is estimated at six billion dollars. In total the share of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in all new hotel projects in the Middle East is about 89%. Today in Dubai there are 97 hotel projects at various stages of realization. In total 437 new hotels are planned to be opened in the Middle East and North Africa in the next few years.

Due to a large amount of hotel projects it is not surprising that the Hotel Show 2012 will present almost all the leading hotel chains of the world, as well as the largest architectural organizations and construction companies of the region. In the exhibition will take part more than 450 hotel brands from around the world. At the Hotel Show 2012 will operate 13 regional pavilions, including individual sectors of such countries as USA, France, Italy, Germany and Turkey.

Hotel Show 2012 will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. This year one of the key events of the exhibition promises to be Green Initiative - a forum dedicated to energy-saving technologies in the field of hotel management. Its development will present such companies as ABB, Pedro Y Lopez, Axminster Carpets, King Koil, Serta, Renarte, Systemfiltration, Interel and others.

Another event, which will be held for the first time during the Hotel Show, is choosing of the best hotel in the Middle East - The Middle Awards.
