In the near future Hyatt intends to open at least three new hotels in New York. Hyatt Hotels Corporation in cooperation with developer Extell Development Corporation will build the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York, which is scheduled to open in 2012. The new hotel Park Hyatt New York, located in Manhattan, will become the flagship luxury hotel of the network. Design of the new fashionable hotel was made by the Pritzker Prize winner - the famous architect Christian de Portzamparc. New York Park Hyatt Hotel with 210 rooms will be located at the intersection of 57 Street, 6th (Avenue of the Americas) and 7th Avenue opposite the Carnegie Hall and will be a part of a 90-storey multifunctional complex. The interiors of the hotel will be developed by design bureau Yabu Pushelberg. A well-known North American duet has already designed the interiors of residences for the Grand Hyatt Moscow residences & Spa in the Federation Tower. Park Hyatt New York Business Center will include multipurpose rooms for conferences and talks, as well as a large hall for special occasions. The hotel has a three-level fitness and wellness center, offering a wide range of services and programs, swimming pool, as well as several bars and restaurants.

Two other new hotels in New York Hyatt plans to build in cooperation with Hersha Development. Hotels should be opened in New York in 2011.

Modern Hotel Hyatt 48Lex for 116 rooms will be located in Midtown at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 48th Street. For the first time in the last ten years in Manhattan the hotel will be built from scratch. The basis of design concept hotel lies in the development of open and spacious rooms with panoramic windows that meet the highest requirements. The hotel will house authentic American bistros. Guests will have the opportunity to use services butlers. Visitors can relax in the hotel’s fitness center with modern gym and indoor pool. One of the features of the new hotel will be a conference room equipped with the latest technology, which allows organizing television space bridges and online conferences.

Rooms located on the second floor of the hotel will be equipped with personal tracks. A distinctive feature of the hotel will be a lounge area on the roof of the building with a magnificent view over the city. Modern hotel will be harmoniously fit into the architectural ensemble of the area due to the preserved historical building facade and a grand lobby area with a seven-meter ceilings and panoramic windows overlooking the 13th street. Inspired by the eco-movement, in the hotel will be open a restaurant serving dishes made with the finest products available at a well-known Greenmarket. The market was founded in 1976 and today it is the largest market in the city offering products from local farmers.
