New Hilton hotel will be opened in Hurghada

Hilton corporation has signed a contract with the Egyptian developer Afak Co. for Touristic Development Co. to manage the newest Hilton Makadi Resort hotel in Hurghada.

The hotel promises to be one of the biggest hotels, which will be managed by Hilton in Egypt. The Hilton Makadi Resort hotel will have 676 rooms. It will be the fourth hotel in Hurghada by Hilton. Today in Hurghada offer their services Hilton Hurghada Resort, Hilton Hurghada Plaza and Hilton Hurghada Long Beach Resort.

Opening of the Hilton Makadi Resort will take place in two stages. The first part of the hotel complex will opened by June 2011. As it is expected, Hurghada hotel will offer tourists 330 rooms for staying. The second opening is scheduled for the second quarter of 2012. This time the company plans to open the remained 346 rooms.

Makadi Bay is Egypt's new tourist oasis, located 30 kilometers from Hurghada and 35 km from the international airport of this resort. Hilton Makadi Resort located in the central part of the bay on the Red Sea coast. About soon opening of a new Hilton hotel in Egypt was announced at a news conference on the occasion of signing of an agreement between Hilton Worldwide and Afak Co. for Touristic Development Co the head of Hilton Africa and the Middle East - Jean-Paul Herzog.

The new Hilton Makadi Resort will be the 17th hotels in Egypt, presented under the brand name of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
