Best hotel in Kaluga, according to Forbes

Ambassador Hotel is considered to be the best hotel in Kaluga, according to the Russian version of Forbes, which introduced the rating "Best regions for business - 2011".

Kaluga region was ranked 16th out of the top 30 regions for business. According to the Forbes analysts, the region is a center of modern Russian car industry. Here are produced Skoda, Volkswagen, Volvo, Peugeot and Citroen. At the car plants, located near Kaluga, are working people from neighboring Bryansk, Smolensk and Orel regions. In Kaluga it is difficult to rent an accommodation. Among the leaders in attracted investments are Maloyaroslavets and Medyn areas. The food industry ranks second in the production structure of the region. In the region operate SABMiller and Nestle plants.

When commenting on the Forbes "Best regions for business - 2011" rating, Director for Sales and Marketing of Ambassador Hotel Kaluga Maxim Gerasimov said: "The first international business hotel Ambassador Hotel Kaluga has received high recognition from the world leading business publication for the first time. Our hotel differs from its competitors by hospitality and friendliness. We focus on the European service and remain the only 4-star hotel in Kaluga".

Ambassador Hotel was previously known in Kaluga under the brand TUI Hotel Kaluga. The hotel was opened in October 2010 and immediately became one of the standard hotels in Russian incentive tourism. Booking of a room in the Ambassador Hotel now costs 3200 Russian rubles.
