Lodín brings together a range of themes to help you plan your trip: water facilities, a nature trail around the Močidlo pond, ponds within the municipality and marked regional cycling routes. A monument in the village square and a statue of the Madonna are also specific local points of interest. The following features will help you distinguish the area's different highlights.

Swimming Facilities at Koupaliště Lodín

Koupaliště Lodín has various pools and water slides. The children's paddling pool is equipped with a slide and a misting system. The leisure pool has massage showers and a whirlpool. The slides include a two-lane slide and a 102-metre-long water slide. The landing pool is 110 centimetres deep. These specific features make it possible to distinguish between the different water attractions without conflating them. The facility operates seasonally, so check whether Koupaliště is open during your planned travel dates.

Ponds, Forest and Nature Trail

Lodín is surrounded by woodland on three sides. The municipality's cadastral area includes the extensive ponds of Močidlo and Homoláč. The nature trail runs around Močidlo and covers several topics related to the surrounding area: the jumping distances of different animals and their tracks, trees, fish and birds, as well as the water cycle. The trail brings together various nature-related topics at a specific point in the landscape. Močidlo is both the pond around which the trail runs and one of the two named ponds in the municipality; Homoláč is the other.

A broader point of reference for nature is the Nechanice–Lodín Site of Community Importance (CZ0520030). It consists of three separate areas west of Nechanice and covers a total of 1,562.6 hectares.

Local Landmarks and Historical References

A monumental memorial to the victims of both world wars stands in the village square. A statue of the Madonna is located at the crossroads towards Petrovice. The two landmarks have different focuses: the memorial is dedicated to the victims of war, while the statue represents another local religious motif. The name also has a historical connection: Lodín is linked to the name Lodyně, associated with the years 1068 and 1126.
