Radvanec lies along the old trade route to Zittau; the original name of the town is Rodowitz. The connection to the road and the former name offer two different links to local history: one refers to a historic trade route, the other to the town's former name.

The Ukřižování relief is carved into a sandstone block, belongs to Baroque folk piety and depicts the Passion of Christ. The first Radvanec Calvary is also a sandstone relief: painted in color, it stands beside a half-timbered house by the stream, and its finish dates from the Baroque period. A second rock relief of Christ lies just beyond Radvanec, on an embankment along the former road. Here you will encounter different aspects of sacred art: the subject depicted, the Baroque-era coloring and the location along a former road.

The Kaplička is a small masonry chapel in Baroque forms and probably dates from the late 18th century. The route “Žitavskou cestou za historií Radvance” was also designed around a cultural and historical theme. Its plan includes 14 stops and a summary information board. Its status therefore differs from that of the Radvanecký turistický okruh, which is designated as a local tourist circuit.

The Radvanecký rybník, with a swimming area and campsite, lies within the cadastral area of the municipality of Radvanec; it is accessible from Sloup v Čechách.
