Añasco: Coast, Mural and Views
Accommodation in Añasco
Añasco combines a distinctive coastal setting with striking murals and views of the Mona Passage. Beaches, local history, scenic viewpoints and select recreational activities each offer something different. When planning your trip, it may help to first decide which of these aspects of Añasco appeals to you for your stay.
Coast and seasonal recreation
Añasco Beach has white sand, gentle waves and a rugged coastline. Tres Hermanos Beach has parking, showers, restrooms, gazebos, campsites and an area for RVs. The two coastal spots offer different experiences: Añasco Beach focuses on sand, waves and the shape of the coast, while the facilities at Tres Hermanos offer additional practical conveniences. Facility details may change, so check them locally before making plans for the beach or camping.
Piscina de Olas is located in Parque Sueños de los Niños in the Pozo Hondo sector. It opened to the public for family recreation during the 2026 summer season. Regular opening hours for that season were listed as Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; on Saturdays, admission was free for children and teenagers with autism and Down syndrome. As this information applies to the 2026 season, check current municipal notices before visiting at a later date.

Its subjects include the story of Salcedo’s drowning, the community’s Catholic and Christian roots, and Mariana Bracetti.
