Joe Jackson is going to invest in hotels in Vietnam. «Happyland» - so is the name of the hotel complex in Vietnam, in the province of Long An, the creation of which will be partially implemented at the expense of Joe Jackson, the father of the pop legend Michael Jackson.

The new hotel «Happyland» will become a part of a giant amusement park, which construction is estimated at 2 billion dollars. The new entertainment center will be located close to one of the largest cities in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh.

Five-star hotel «Happyland» will take an area of 15 hectares. It will be designed for 1,000 rooms.

Official opening of the «Happyland» park is scheduled on April 2014. In addition to the hotel in the territory of the park will be located cinema studio, water park, theaters, restaurants and attractions. The complex is expected to attract annually 14 million tourists.

According the Vietnamese press, Jackson decided to invest in Vietnam hotel, because he is "very fond of traveling and discovering new cultures". Jackson also noted that the project pleased him by a special location in a picturesque corner of Vietnam with the rich nature.

The of Joe Jackson’s amount of investments in Vietnamese hotel is not disclosed.

Joe Jackson is known as the producer of the Jackson 5 band, where played all his five sons. The youngest of them - Michael - later became one of the most successful pop singers in the history of show business. In addition to songs Michael Jackson was famous as the creator of his own amusement park Neverland.

As expected, the «Happyland» complex will be one of the largest entertainment centers not only in Vietnam but also throughout Southeast Asia.
