However, the first project of Margaret Anderson was less fortunate - it was demolished. At the site, where was previously located The Hollywood Hotel, is now built the center, where "Oscar" award ceremonies are held.
Anyway, it is impossible to overestimate the importance of "The Beverly Hills Hotel" for the history of modern show business. In its swimming pool swam «The Beatles» and one of the bungalows for 30 years was occupied by the legendary billionaire Howard Hughes. Next to Hughes during the filming of "Let's Make Love" lived Marilyn Monroe and Yves Montand. In "Beverly Hills" were filmed dozens of famous Hollywood films with such celebrities as Gregory Peck and Faye Dannaway. The facade of the "Beverly Hills" hotel was placed on the cover of the Eagles album «Hotel California».
