Brooklet offers different ways to experience the area on your trip: retreat activities at Gaia Retreat & Spa, a mineral pool at The Brooklet, and farm-gate stalls and cooking classes.

Activities at Gaia Retreat & Spa

Gaia Retreat & Spa offers guests yoga, Pilates, sound healing and foraging tours. Schedules may change. If you plan to take part in a particular activity, check the current schedule before you arrive. Yoga and Pilates focus on movement, while sound healing and foraging tours offer other ways to spend your time. This gives you the option to weigh up different activity focuses when planning your trip.

Gaia also offers guests a weaving activity. Using natural fibres from the Gaia grounds, participants make a pendant, bracelet, ring or key ring. This hands-on craft differs from the movement, sound and tour activities. If you’re interested in taking part, note that this activity is offered to guests.

The day spa building, including the steam room, is currently closed for renovations. Spa treatments are still available in treatment rooms at the retreat. Check the current status again before your trip so you can take into account that the day spa building, including the steam room, is closed, while spa treatments continue in treatment rooms at the retreat.

Mineral pool and scenery at The Brooklet

The Brooklet has a 25-metre mineral pool for guests, set on a ridge with views across the gently rolling hinterland. The specific pool length and the scenic outlook offer a different focus from the activities at Gaia Retreat & Spa. If you’re weighing up pool facilities against an activity program when choosing accommodation, these are two different aspects of a stay.

Farm-gate stalls and cooking classes

Farm-gate stalls are dotted along Brooklet’s roads. A scenic drive through the surrounding countryside also passes coffee and macadamia plantations. This lets you distinguish between a possible stop at a stall and a drive with views of plantations. If you want to visit a particular farm-gate stall, check in advance whether it will be open on your travel date.

Seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruit are grown in the organic gardens at Bhavana Organic Farm and Cooking School. Cooking classes are also offered, providing a cooking experience described as caring, relaxing and fun. Bookings are required for a cooking class. If you plan to include one in your trip, take this booking requirement into account in advance.

So the offerings in Brooklet differ in more than just theme: certain activities are included in a stay at Gaia, The Brooklet offers guests a mineral pool, and Bhavana requires a booking. Farm-gate stalls and plantations add options for exploring along the roads and taking a scenic drive.
