Hrubá Voda combines leisure activities and nature themes with a historical connection. The bob track at the resort, treetop and educational trails, and the play park each offer a different focus. This lets you plan your trip around the balance of activity, nature and history you want.

Activities with Different Profiles

The bob track at Hrubá Voda Resort is listed as a year-round activity. Its total length is 851 m, and speeds of up to 40 km/h are possible. As operating conditions may change, check them before your visit. The Kamzíkova stezka offers different features: the treetop course includes climbing elements, slides and a rope maze 13 m above the ground. The bob track has specified figures for length and possible speed, while the Kamzíkova stezka is described by its height and types of elements. This lets you distinguish a track with stated measurements from an elevated course with a variety of elements.

Educational Trails, Nature and Play

The Naučná stezka skřítka Hrubíka is over 1 km long, accessible year-round and has seven educational and play stations for families with children. Its themes include the surrounding nature, the forest, and local fauna and flora. Hrubíkův lesopark has a 2 km educational trail that runs downhill to a water park at the end. The two routes have different focuses: the Naučná stezka features stations and nature themes, while the trail through the lesopark runs downhill and ends at the water park.

The bird area in Hrubíkův lesopark adds its own nature-focused feature: children can watch birds in the treetops from wooden observation points. These activities cater to families in different ways: the Naučná stezka has educational and play stations for families with children, while children can watch birds in the bird area.

Play Areas and Mining Heritage

The Dětský park skřítka Hrubíka includes a play pool, a dragon-themed playground and an underground maze. The maze consists of two tunnels named Klára and Libor and draws on the local mining heritage. In this way, the maze combines a play feature with a historical theme.

Landscape and History

At the southern edge of Hrubá Voda, the Údolí Bystřice area also extends into the left-hand part of the Bystřice Valley. Hrad Hluboký is a medieval castle ruin. It was damaged during the siege of 1426 and is described as abandoned from 1447 onward. Alongside leisure and nature, the area also offers a protected landscape and a historical connection.
