Activities in Bílá include ski runs, mountain bike trails, hiking routes, a riverside promenade, and seasonal summer attractions. When planning your trip, it is helpful to first consider what you would like to focus on, along with the relevant operating or access conditions.

Winter activities and mountain bike trails

The Bílá ski area has FIS-certified red runs as well as blue family runs. This means the area offers two different piste classifications. If skiing is the focus of your stay, check seasonal operating conditions before you travel.

SingleTrails Bílá is a bike park on Mount Zbojnická, with one-way trails for mountain bikers. When planning your visit, the key considerations are the direction of travel and the intended user group: these are trails for mountain bikers that run in one direction. Access and trail conditions are seasonal, so take this into account when choosing your dates.

Hiking routes: views and trail length

The K Evropskému rozvodí (Bobek) route starts at the top station of the Zbojník chairlift. Along the route, you can enjoy views of the Beskydy Mountains as well as the Slovak ranges of Malá Fatra, Velká Fatra, and Sulovské skály. If scenic views are a priority when choosing a route, this gives you a specific option to consider.

Maxův klauz offers a different kind of planning information: the route is five kilometres long and runs in one direction. The two routes can therefore be compared using different details: for Bobek, the starting point and views are key; for Maxův klauz, the trail length. Trail conditions may vary, so factor this into your plans.

Riverside promenade and natural features

The Bílanská promenade runs along the river and has numerous climbing and play structures for children. If you are weighing up different types of outings, these features make it distinct from routes offering mountain views or a specified trail length.

The Pramen Smradlavá sulphur spring is located near the Velký Smradlavý stream on the Bílá–Beskyd–Bumbálka route. Its water is enriched with hydrogen sulphide. If you visit the spring, follow the on-site guidance on handling the water.

The Salajka National Nature Reserve is not open to the public. However, it can be viewed from a yellow-marked hiking trail from Bumbálka to the Salajka forester’s lodge. The trail runs for about 500 m along the reserve’s western edge. This distinction is important when planning an outing: you can view the reserve from the trail, but the reserve itself remains inaccessible.

Summer activities and practical information

Dětský letní park includes a water world, a climbing centre, go-karts, aquazorbing, and a tubing track. These attractions combine water activities, climbing, and rides. The park operates seasonally, so bear this in mind when planning a visit.

The NA BÍLÉ Tourist Information Centre is located in the Bílá ski area in the Beskydy Mountains. It also operates seasonally, so check its opening hours before your trip.

To plan a visit to the Church of St. Bedřich, consider bus connections from Frýdek-Místek towards Konečná and Bumbálka on the Slovak border, as well as from Rožnov p. R. to Bílá. Route information can change, so check the current timetable before travelling.
