The Velké Březno Fortification Museum is located directly on the cycle path from Ústí nad Labem to Děčín. The ferry between Velké Březno and Povrly transports cars and bicycles and is directly connected to the Elbe Cycle Route.

History

The Velké Březno Fortification Museum presents a light fortification structure of type 37, known as a Řopík, built in 1938 before the Second World War to defend Czechoslovakia. The museum offers guided tours with a guide in historical uniform.

Beer tradition

Generations of brewers have been brewing beer at Velké Březno Brewery since 1753 and continue to do so today. Viktor Cibich, a stationmaster from Velké Březno, is the historical figure depicted on the labels of Březňák beer. For technical reasons, Velké Březno Brewery has temporarily suspended visitor tours since 30 April 2026.
