Montenegro Montenegro

Hotels in Montenegro: searching and booking of hotels in Montenegro. Hotels in Montenegro in Budva Riviera, hotels in Becici, Kotor and other resorts online.

Montenegro is a famous tourist destination in the Balkans. Bay of Kotor, Budva and Budva Riviera, nudist beach Ada Bojana, the island of St. Stefan - these are the resorts in Montenegro, which can often be found in guidebooks to the country. Hotels in Montenegro already five years ago were known for their modest service. Luxury five-star hotels in Montenegro were then considered to be rarity. Many Montenegrin hotels remain unchanged since Yugoslavian times. Montenegro's hotel industry began upgrading quite recently.

Today in Montenegro remains the old letter hotel classification system and there are no any stars, to which many tourists are accustomed to. Nevertheless hotels in Montenegro are gradually re-registered in accordance with international standards.

Ministry of Tourism of Montenegro regularly publishes lists of the best hotels in the country. The list includes hotels at such resorts as Becici, Herceg Novi, Tivat and Petrovac. As it should be, at the top of the list are deluxe and premium hotels. Among them are Montenegro hotel in Becici and the famous Villa Montenegro directly opposite the "toy" of the St. Stephen Island.

Anyway, hotels today are not the only popular way of staying in Montenegro. Villas and apartments on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro create competition for the country's hotel industry. However, we cannot say that hoteliers in Montenegro feel to be deprived. Construction of new hotels in Montenegro is in full swing. Investors believe that the country is one of the most attractive tourist regions in the "new Europe". Montenegro is becoming increasingly exclusive region. Here come the operators, who offer unique hotel service, such as Aman hotel chain. Among those, who try to invest in hotel real estate in Montenegro, are such famous personalities as Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

Montenegro is actively visited by many Europeans, including Russians. The number of Russian tourists in Montenegro is growing every year. During high season from Moscow to Tivat and Podgorica (the capital of Montenegro) are performed more than 30 regular flights. On average, from Russia to Montenegro annually travel about 100.000 people. Montenegro is popular among UK tourists. A large part of the hotel market in Montenegro belongs to the people from these two countries. In 2008 revenue from tourism in Montenegro increased by 10% up to 500 million euros.
