Hasvåg lies right on the open sea near Folla, in the municipality of Flatanger. Sea fishing, beaches and walks offer different ways to spend your stay. If you’re looking for a hotel, you can start by considering whether you’d like to focus your trip on time by the water, a swimming beach, or excursions to viewpoints and into the mountains.

Sea fishing and boat hire

Since 1995, Småværet Fiske-Ferie has operated fishing tourism on Småværet in Hasvåg and offers boat hire. Hasvåg Fritid rents out six boats for sea fishing. At the floating jetty, Hasvåg Fritid has a covered fish-cleaning area with fresh water and freezers, as well as lockable storage for clothing and equipment. Hasvåg Fiske 24 is located right by the water in Hårstad and serves as a base for sea fishing. These three options have different focuses: fishing tourism and boat hire on Småværet; rental boats and an equipped fish-cleaning area at Hasvåg Fritid; and a waterfront base in Hårstad. Availability, fleet size and rental equipment may change; ask the respective provider about what’s available for your travel dates.

Beaches, walks and food

The beach descriptions also differ: Hasvåg Sjøcamping is located by a swimming beach, while Hasvåg Fritid is 100 metres from a sandy beach. Hasvåg Sjøcamping rents boats equipped with echo sounders and navigation equipment. Walks to viewpoints and into the mountains are possible from the campsite. Summit hikes on Hårstadfjellet are also possible.

In Hårstad, Agnes Minikjøkken & Catering serves Filipino and Norwegian food for small or large occasions. The food service may change in availability.
