Hotels in San Marino: "Little Italy" online
Not everyone knows what is San Marino. In fact it is a tiny country located inside Italy. Here, as well as in Italy, people speak Italian, but officially are Sammarinese.
Hotels in San Marino today have no shortage of tourists. Located near the country famous Italian resort of Rimini, as well as dozens of unique attractions, plus reputation of the little state, guarantee San Marino constant flow of tourists from April to October. Mount Monte Titano, Gayata fortress, the historic center of San Marino with its rocky ledges – these are the most famous attractions of the smallest European state after Vatican and Monaco.
Hotels in San Marino are fully occupied as the number of tourists, who annually visit the country, is constantly very high. Not so long ago (2009), there were more than 2 million tourists. At the same time there are few hotels in the country. Many tourists prefer to stay in Rimini: there beaches and cheaper accommodation. In San Marino people come for a couple of days. We can only add that all hotels in San Marino are distinguished by courtesy and cleanliness. Perhaps, it is explained by absence of hotels lower that 3*, and, perhaps, national character.
